Featuring a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p, Galaxy A9 Pro also features a large 5,000 mAh battery, an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, a 4GB RAM, 16MP and 8MP cameras, up to 32GB of internal storage and the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow on-board.
The phone also features dual-SIM card slots, a MicroSD card slot and LTE capability along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. A mere look at the specifications suggest that while Galaxy A9 Pro's battery is probably the largest among smartphones in terms of capacity, it's job has been made even easier thanks to a display resolution which isn't shattering records and the presence of a 4GB RAM which saves the phone a lot of hard work. While internal storage of 32GB will be enough for most users, the MicroSD slot will be able to accommodate a 128GB card for those who need to store more data.
As per Sammobile, the Galaxy A9 Pro that is retailing in China has a model number SM-A9100, but Samsung has recently imported a device with a model number SM-A910F from South Korea to India for testing. By testing a variant, Samsung has raised suspicions among industry watchers that it may release the variant in regions outside of China once testing has been completed.
Ahead of its official release, specifications of Samsung's Galaxy A9 Pro were leaked to the media via an AnTuTu benchmark testing. Detailed specifications of Samsung's Galaxy A9 was also leaked back in November via GeekBench. As per details available on AnTuTu, Galaxy A9 Pro was tipped to feature a Snapdragon 652 processor with four Cortex A-53 CPU cores and four Cortex A-72 cores. It was also expected to feature 32GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM as well as a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display.
