Featuring powerful specifications, the two moto Moto G phones will be available for highly competitive prices. While the standard Moto G4 will cost you just £169 at Tesco Mobile, Argos and Amazon, G4 Plus will cost you just £199 exclusively on Amazon. Both phones will be available for purchase early next month.
In terms of specifications, Moto G4 will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an octa core Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB of on-board RAM and along with 16GB and 32GB storage options, 13MP and 5MP cameras and a 3,000 mAh battery. In contrast, the G4 Plus isn't much different and offers the same display size and resolution, the same battery but brings in more storage and RAM combinations. You can choose your favourite G4 Plus from a choice of 64GB + 4GB, 32GB + 3GB and 16GB + 2GB options.
Moto G4 Plus
Like the G4, G4 Plus will come with an octa core Snapdragon 617 processor and an Adreno 405 GPU. However, the rear camera in G4 Plus is quite advanced compared to the one in G4. The one in G4 Plus is a 16MP one and features two rapid focus technologies, laser focus and phase detect autofocus. However, the front cameras in both phones feature 5MP lenses and do not differ in any manner.
By introducing the two new Moto G variants, the popular Moto G line-up has finally gone beyond HD displays and 5-inch size factors. With prices starting at less than £200, both offer specifications and features that will give other mid-range competitors like the OnePlus Two a run for their money. Given that Lenovo has decided to continue the Moto G production line despite completely acquiring Motorola last year, we expect the future Moto G phones to continue to bring in great new features and functionalities at low prices.
