EE has also updated the EE TV app so that you will be able to view programme schedules on your smartphone and record them for future viewing. Once recorded, these shows will transfer immediately to your mobile or tablet over Wi-Fi and will stay there until you choose to delete them.
You will also be able to set future programmes on 'Recordings To Go' and they will be saved on your phone or tablet as soon as these shows are aired on TV. The updated app will feature a 'Recordings To Go' hub where you will be able to view all the programmes that have been recorded.
We’re continually looking at ways to offer new, exciting and innovative TV features to our customers and now we’ve made EE TV truly mobile. With Recordings To Go, we’re giving users unique control over how and where they choose to watch TV – whether that’s on a train, bus, tube or even a plane,” said Simeon Bird, Director of Home Broadband & TV at EE.
If you are planning to subscribe to EE TV, a future subscription will come with three months free Entertainment Pass from NOW TV as well as on demand entertainment like BBC iPlayer, Demand 5 and YouTube for free.
