LG G5 gets March 31 as official release date

Pre-orders of LG G5 began yesterday with EE and Mobiles.co.uk offering attractive contracts and freebies, and now LG has confirmed that G5 will release globally from March 31.

LG G5 will be first available in Korea on March 31 followed by US on April 1. Virgin Media will start selling the G5 in the UK from April 1.

In the UK, you can buy the G5 from Virgin Media which is offering a free 32" LG TV along with the phone starting from April 1. The TV is worth £249.99 which makes this probably the best offer you are going to get this year.

It is expected that most mobile phone retailers will start stocking the G5 ahead of the release date, but we are yet to receive confirmation from any of them, except Mobiles.co.uk.

Mobiles.co.uk is currently offering the G5 on pre-orders with monthly plans starting at £31 a month with 3GB of 4G data from O2. You can also avail a great offer at the same monthly cost and get unlimited minutes and texts and 6GB of monthly data from Vodafone, but with an upfront cost of £50.
