LG G5, one of the star phones to be launched at Mobile World Congress, is now available for pre-orders through a range of retailers and network operators including Virgin Media, EE and Mobiles.co.uk.
EE, Vodafone and O2 will offer the LG G5 with 4G calling and Wi-Fi calling support
G5 is LG's first all-metal and modular smartphone featuring a wide-angle rear camera, volume keys on the side and a fingerprint sensor.
G5 also comes with a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560p, the latest Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 21MP main camera with an Iris scanner, a removable battery, the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and up to 64 GB of internal storage. Other prominent features include a 3D Arc Glass screen, USB Type-C port, Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 3.0 feature and a microSD slot.
If you buy a G5 from Virgin Media, your new handset will come pre-loaded with Virgin Media's WiFi Buddy app which will let you connect to thousands of free WiFi hotspots in underground stations, cafes, bars, shops and restaurants.

Virgin Media's pay monthly deals for the G5 start at £31 a month with no upfront cost and will be available from April 1. If you think these deals are all about freebies, Virgin Media will also offer you one of the best experiences in the country in terms of broadband services, pay monthly mobile deals, pay TV and landline services.
An Ofcom report published last year revealed that Virgin Media was the least complained about provider in terms of landline, broadband and Pay TV services. The network also won the Best Value Network award at Mobile Choice Consumer Awards last year.
EE, the best network in the UK in terms of performance and speed, also opened pre-orders for the G5 today. If you pre-order a G5 from EE today, you will get a B&O PLAY S3 speaker and B&O PLAY H3 headphones in a deal worth just £400! Isn't that grand?
This offer will make more sense for you if you prefer watching Netflix exclusively on your smartphone or tablet.

EE is also recommending a great new deal for the 32GB LG G5 which costs £39.99 a month on a 24 month 4GEE Extra plan with an upfront cost of £9.99. Through this deal, you will get unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 10GB of 4G data every month.
If you purchase a G5 from EE shops or its online store, you will be able to avail Wi-Fi Calling and 4G Calling (VoLTE) features in your new handset.
“Every year LG uses its flagship smartphone launches to introduce a host of innovative features and functionality, and this year is no different. To get the very best out of the new handset’s features, users really do need to couple it with the biggest and fastest UK network offering speeds up to 150 Mbps and Wi-Fi Calling built in,” said Sharon Meadows, Director of Devices, EE.
Popular retailer Mobiles.co.uk is also offering the G5 on pre-orders starting today with monthly plans starting at £31 a month with 3GB of 4G data from O2.
However, you can also avail a great offer at the same monthly cost and get unlimited minutes and texts and 6GB of monthly data from Vodafone, but with an upfront cost of £50.

“LG has been clear about its intention to rival fellow Korean brand Samsung, and stands to with this big step up from the G4. Not only have LG developers added an all-metal body like the iPhone and HTC, but they have provided a completely new offer with modular components and full buy-in from third party developers. Phone owners will have a completely new set of options with this sleek handset, enjoying the vastly improved display, processor and camera alone or adding modules to suit their lifestyle,” said Abby Francis, spokesperson at Mobiles.co.uk.
