Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones feature the new Dual Pixel technology which makes pictures brighter and sharper even in low light. The technology also allows for a brighter lens wih a wider aperture, bigger pixels, better autofocus and faster shutter speed.
The rear camera in both phones as a 12MP one and the front one is a 5MP one with optical image stabilization.
Both new phones feature a 3D Glass and metal body and the handsets are IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. There's an Always-On display and the Edge UX feature in the S7 Edge creates shortcuts for apps like email, selfie mode, panorama mode or third party apps.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones will come with 3,000 mAh and 3,600 mAh batteries and can be wirelessly charged as well. Thanks to better batteries and battery saving features like the Game Launcher for gamers, they offer much longer battery lives than the existing S6 and S6 Edge phones.
Running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, S7 and S7 Edge come with internal storage options of 32GB and 64GB along with a 4GB RAM. Thanks to the return of a microSD slot which will allow you to add up to 200GB of data, you'll not miss the 128GB storage version anymore.
The phones are powered by 64-bit octa-core and Quad-core processors which support a Quad HD display, powerful cameras and multi-tasking functions including heavy HD gaming and running immersive VR videos.
Both devices will also come with a number of other features like fingerprint scanners, Samsung Pay with NFC, MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) and Barcode technology.
Both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones will be available for pre-orders starting tomorrow and will be available for in-store purchases from 11th March. If you pre-order one before the 5th of March, you may receive your handset by the 8th and will also get a Samsung Gear VR headset for free!
