Huawei MateBook will feature a 12-inch display, almost as big as the 12.3-inch one in Surface Pro 4 but smaller than the 12.9-inch display in Apple's iPad Pro.
The display is an IPS TFT one and comes with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels which is commonly known as a Quad HD display.
For a 2-in-1 tablet, it is very important for the processor to be a powerful one to let the device perform just like a laptop. In this regard, the MateBook doesn't disappoint.
The tablet comes with a choice of Intel's m3, m5 and m7 6th-Gen chips which are available at different price points.
MateBook comes in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants which are available at different pricing points. However, there are just two RAM options. The 4GB RAM will come with the 128GB and 256GB storage versions while 8GB RAM will be available with 256GB and 512GB versions.
MateBook features a 33.7Wh high-density Lithium battery which supports nine hours of work, nine consecutive hours of Internet use and 29 hours of music playback.
The USB Type-C port offers quick charging solutions and MateBook also offers enough media customisations through which you can save as much as 25 per cent of battery life. The latest 6th Gen processor in the MateBook also consumes lesser energy and the device has achieved a 10-hour life under average use.
Just like Apple's iPad Pro and the Surface Pro 4, MateBook comes with a separate Keyboard and a MatePen which can be purchased separately for €149 and €69 respectively.
MatePen offers 2,048 levels of sensitivity, can work as a laser pointer and supports graphics and mathematic functions.
Weighing at 640 g, MateBook will be available in Gray and Golden colours but you will also be able to choose from a range of case colours like Black, Brown, Orange and Beige.
