Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge put up for sale for £771 ahead of launch

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge may be a few days away from launch, but thanks to an online classifieds portal in Dubai, we won’t have to wait anymore to see how the phablet looks like and what’s in the box!

Dubizzle, the online classifieds portal in Dubai in which the LG G5 was put up for sale yesterday, now fields an ad which has put up the Galaxy S7 Edge on sale for £771!

Image of Galaxy S7 Edge appears in Samsung's website!

The ad shows front and back images of a black Galaxy S7 Edge and also comes up with images of what’s in the box. Along with the phablet, the box contains a USB to MicroUSB cable, a two-pin charger with a USB port and a rectangular box containing earphones. There’s also a connector which could either be a microUSB to USB Type-C one or a microUSB to USB one.

Apart from looking like a larger variant of HTC One A9, Galaxy S7 Edge features smooth edges on both sides as well as dual LED flash on the back alongside the rear camera. The £771 price tag may seem more than the actual cost but given that the phablet hasn’t been launched yet and that Samsung hasn’t revealed the pricing, it wouldn’t be wise to comment on it.

Leaked! Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge images and specs

Earlier this month, Samsung accidentally posted an image of the Galaxy S7 Edge in its website which was spotted and distributed by Dutch Website Galaxy Club before Samsung removed it. The image revealed that one of the side panels of Galaxy S7 Edge will show the date and time, app updates and sharing options, the other features a compass, news updates from CNN and looks similar to the single side panel on the Galaxy Note Edge.

Yet another image of the Galaxy S7 Edge was posted by popular leakster @evleaks on Twitter, revealing the phablet sporting glass frames on the back and bearing a bit of resemblance with the Galaxy Note 5 phablet that wasn't launched in the UK.
