The fact that Microsoft will announce the Lumia 650 ahead of Mobile World Congress was an open secret in tech forums. A leaked image along with specifications and pricing had already emerged back in January and it was a question of when and not if Microsoft will launch the Lumia 650. However, the Dual-SIM variant came as a surprise.

Lumia 650 comes at a time when existing users of Windows 8 phones like Lumia 640 and 640 XL, Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 735, Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 phones are still waiting for their Windows 10 mobile upgrades.
Measuring just 6.9mm in width, Lumia 650 is the thinnest Windows 10 device till date, bettering the likes of Lumia 950 and 950 XL and the cheaper Lumia 550.

In terms of specs, there is no variance between the single-SIM and dual-SIM versions. Lumia 650 comes with a 5-inch OLED display, 8MP and 5MP cameras, a quad-core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 212 processor, 16GB of internal storage and a 2,000 mAh battery. There's also a microSD slot which can accommodate up to 200GB of additional storage.

Just like any other Windows 10 phones, Lumia 650 comes pre-loaded with Windows Creative Studio, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Photos Add-Ins, Skype, Word and PowerPoint apps.
Microsoft delays roll out of Windows 10 Mobile again!
Lumia 650 will be available for purchase starting February 18 for £150 - £160. Back in January, A smartphone distributor in the Czech Republic revealed that Lumia 650 may cost CZK 5,491 which is equivalent to just over £150. The price now makes Lumia 650 slightly costlier than the £92 Lumia 550 as well as the £99 Lumia 640 but cheaper than the £219 Lumia 640 XL.
