Just like BlackBerry termed its Android phone Priv as the Venice before it was launched, HTC are going with Perfume. Apart from impressive factory specifications, Perfume will also feature a rear camera with 12-UltraPixel resolution and laser-assisted autofocus and a front camera with OIS.
HTC One A9 in Deep Garnet now exclusively available at Vodafone UK
Unlike the One M9 or the One M9++, Perfume may not feature the popular BoomSound audio technology or even front-facing speakers. However, the Taiwanese phone maker has attempted to make amends by placing a fingerprint scanner on the home button and bringing in the much-anticipated Snapdragon 820 processor to power its engines.
Snapdragon 820 features a X12 LTE modem that offers download speeds of up to 600 Mbps and uploads speeds of 150 Mbps. It will let you stream multiple 4K Ultra HD videos with faster Wi-Fi support. The Adreno 530 GPU also offers 40 per cent improvement to graphics, computing and power usage compared to the existing Adreno 430 GPU in the Snapdragon 810 chip. If the One M10 really does feature this new chip, you will get introduced to an entire new world of mobile computing.
HTC One M9s is a serious mid-range challenger!
Despite getting our hands on so many specs and features, we haven't been able to absorb much about the One M10's design or build quality. With Mobile World Congress set to take place in Barcelona in just a couple of weeks, we really won't have to wait for long.
