Image of Galaxy S7 Edge appears in Samsung's website!

Samsung might be putting the finishing touches to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones ahead of their launch on February 21, but who could imagine that Samsung would post an image of the S7 Edge in its developer site?

Dutch website Galaxy Club spotted an image of the upcoming Galaxy S7 Edge in Samsung's website just in time before it was quickly taken down. The image reveals that the S7 Edge looks markedly similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ phones.

The image also reveals how the side panels on the Galaxy S7 Edge will look like. While one of them will show the date and time, app updates and sharing options, the other features a compass, news updates from CNN and looks similar to the single side panel on the Galaxy Note Edge.

Earlier, @evleaks leaked front and back images of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones sporting glass frames on the back and bearing a bit of resemblance with the Galaxy Note 5 phablet that wasn't launched in the UK.

As per available leaks from Venturebeat, Phone Arena and GSM Arena, Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones will come with the new Exynos 8890 processor, dual SIM variants, 3,000 mAh and 3,600 mAh batteries respectively, Quad HD displays and features like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, NFC and wireless charging.

GSM Arena has also let it known that Samsung will also launch two more variants of the S7 later this year and will name them the Galaxy S7 Plus and S7 Edge Plus. These variants may get launched around September, coinciding with the launch of Apple's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
