CES 2016: LG's two new K series smartphones to redefine its camera technology
Here's what you need to know about the new phones if you're thinking about buying a decent mid-range smartphone with good cameras.
LG K10 will be the bigger of the two and will come with a 5.3-inch HD In-cell Touch display. You'll get to choose among 8GB and 16GB models and also among LTE and 3G variants. The 8GB and 16GB variants will come with 1GB and 2GB of RAM respectively and will run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and hold 2,300 mAh batteries.
The standout features of the K10 are its 13MP and 8MP cameras. The cameras will come with LG's Gesture Shot, Gesture Interval Shot and Flash for Selfie features to let you take the best of pictures without worrying about light conditions or taking pictures on the move.
You can choose your K10 from a choice of colours like White, Indigo and Gold.
LG may launch the G5 next month
The K4 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and we're sure that it'll be priced somewhere close to what the Moto G or Samsung's Galaxy A3 are selling for. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, it'll be available with just 8GB of storage with a 1GB RAM, a 1,940 mAh battery and 5MP and 2MP cameras.
You can choose your K4 from a choice of White and Indigo colours. Given that the display isn't an HD one, the 1GB RAM should be sufficient for your multi-tasking needs but we wouldn't recommend running too many apps or indulging in heavy gaming on the K4.

LG also launched the 5-inch K7 smartphone at Consumer Electronics Show but haven't released it yet. The K7 will be available in 8GB and 16GB storage variants and like the K10, will be available in LTE and 3G variants which is quite rare these days.
