CES 2016: ARCHOS launches 40 Power and 50 Power smartphones

ARCHOS has launched two new smartphones, the ARCHOS 40 Power and the ARCHOS 50 Power smartphones at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today.

With 4-inch and 5-inch displays respectively, the ARCHOS 40 Power and the ARCHOS 50 Power smartphones cater to those who wish to buy either a sub- £50 phone or a mid-range phone with a range of features along with great battery life.

ARCHOS 40 Power, to be priced at just £49.99 when it will release in May, fields a quad-core processor, an internal storage of 8GB and a 1,900 mAh battery. The high-capacity battery offers up to two days of battery life, a great feat considering its price.

The ARCHOS 50 Power, on the other hand, is a larger phone and will cost £129.99 when it will arrive at stores in the UK. It sports a quad-core processor, an internal storage of 16GB, a 2GB RAM and a 13MP primary camera.

In the 5-inch segment, ARCHOS is also launching a ARCHOS 50 Cobalt phone and for phablet-lovers, there will be a 5.5-inch ARCHOS 55 Cobalt Plus smartphone. Both new phones will pack IPS HD displays, 1GB and 2GB of RAM respectively, quad-core processors and 8MP and 13MP primary cameras respectively. The phones will also feature a microSD slot to provide for additional storage. Featuring Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, ARCHOS 50 Cobalt will cost £99 while the ARCHOS 55 Cobalt will be priced at £149 at the time of availability.
