TAG Heuer launches new “TAG Heuer Connected” Watch

TAG Heuer launched their Connected Watch today which is the first foray for the Swiss watchmaker into the world of wearable tech. The watch runs with Swiss precision alongside the smarts of Google's Android Wear and is powered by Intel's processor. In the company's words, it combines the grace of their superior 'luxury' watch design with the power of Intel and the reach of Android Wear.

Tag Heuer Connected smartwatch: Looks

Designed and produced in partnership with Intel and Google, TAG Heuer's new watch has a 46mm round face built from light grade 2 Titanium which is more crash resistant than either steel or gold.

The watch features in TAG Heuer's Carrera collection which includes exclusively designed index, counters, date window and minute track. Availabe in black, blue and pearl white, the watch will display the 3-hand dial, a GMT dial and a chronograph dial.

To display information from partner apps on its face, the watch does not get rid of either the dial or the hands. Thus, you will get all the information you need without having to swipe through or clicking on apps.

You will also be able to choose among several watch faces from the TAG Heuer app on Google Play Store.
