Dual-screen LG V10 phablet starts shipping

LG V10, the largest phablet developed by the Korean giant, will release in United States, China and Hong Kong this week and will enter the UK later in the quarter.

Standing at 5.7 inches, LG V10 incorporates several improvements over the popular G series phones that serve as LG's existing flagship products.

Some unique features in the LG V10 that will surely turn your head are two front cameras of 5MP resolution each that work together to take wide angle selfies of 120 degrees, a new fingerprint sensor, Qualcomm Technologies TruSignal antenna that takes care of call drops, 32 bit Hi-Fi DAC technology for premium sound quality, an always-on second display that shows the time, data, battery status and weather updates and Manual Video recording that lets you adjust shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance and focus while recording your films.

LG V10's primary QHD display has a resolution of 513ppi and the 3,000 mAh battery is removable, letting you prolong the phone's life by a couple of years. The phone offers a maximum internal storage of 64GB and its 4GB RAM works with a Snapdragon 808 processor for your multi-tasking and gaming needs. The phone's primary 16MP camera has also let LG meet 'SanDisk’s guidelines for Extreme Photo-Imaging Capabilities (EPIC) to distinguish exceptional photography and video experiences in smartphones.'

In terms of durability, LG V10 has a stainless steel frame with silicon bumpers to reduce chances of cracks. The phone also has military standard certification for drop tests and features a dual-layer glass display.

In the United States, LG V10 is available along with a 200GB microSD card and an extra battery for just $300 as part on an introductory offer. If the same offer comes to the UK, it will cost you just £195! You will be able to choose from Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue colour options.

    You can buy the H961N online, only disadvantage being for UK use it doesn't have 1 of the 3 LTE antennas that the UK uses. So you can still get 4G, it...
