UPDATED: EE releases 4GEE Capture Cam, its first wearable cam

EE has launched its new 4GEE Capture Cam which will allow you to stream videos of your antics live over 4G, 3G or Wi-Fi. The 55mm midget gadget is no pushover though, with similar functionality as EE's popular 4GEE Action Cam which won the Connected Gadget of the Year at Mobile Choice Consumer Awards earlier this month.

UPDATE: EE has made its 4GEE Capture Cam available on sale today. You can grab hold of it either from EE shops or the EE online store.

Will the 4GEE Capture Cam be good enough?

Available around Christmas, the form factor will surprise you. Weighing at just 90g, it will capture your real-time videos in HD quality and live stream them at an awesome 30fps. The 8-MP snapper will take reasonably good pictures too and the 4GB storage should let you capture quite a few.

Just so that you can store your videos too, there's a slot for a 64GB memory card and guess what, you can take pictures in low resolutions too, to save hundreds of them without worrying about backing up the storage in the middle of a run.

How do I sync up the Capture Cam?

Irrespective of whether you own an Android phone or an iPhone, all you need to do is just download the dedicated Capture Cam app and all your live streams will go straight to the app.

The app will also let you remotely control all camera functions and view live streams on your phone. It can even let you take up to 20 pictures at a time on burst mode.
