Just a day after Sony unveiled its latest generation of smartphones named the Z5 series, the company has announced pricing details of the Xperia Z5, the Z5 Premium and the Z5 Compact.
The Xperia Z5 Premium, the world's first smartphone to feature a 4k 2160p Ultra HD display, will retail for £699. Apart from the brilliant display, the phone will also feature a 23MP camera with a 5x clear zoom and its SteadyShot feature will make you say goodbye to shaky videos for good.
You can pre-order the device on Sony's website and can choose among gold, chrome and black colours.
The Xperia Z5, a 5.2 inch phone with a 1080p Full HD display, will retail for slightly less at £599 while its younger cousin, the Xperia Z5 Compact, a 4.5 inch phone with a 1080p Full HD display, will be available for £549.
Apart from the revolutionary camera and display, both the Z5 and the Z5 Compact phones also sport a fingerprint sensor for easy unlocking, as well as a 64-bit architecture supported by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 810 processor.
In terms of battery usage, Sony says all three devices can last up to two days of regular usage. Quick battery charging features like the Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 2.0 will help you gain 5.5 hours’ worth battery life with just ten minutes of charging.
The Xperia Z5 will come in subtle Gold, emerald green, graphite black and white colour options, while the Compact variant will sell in yellow, coral, black and white colour options.
