Sony has just released some promotional photos of the upcoming Xperia Z5 Compact ahead of an official launch. However, rumour mongers claim that the leak was inadvertent.
As per most sources, the Xperia Z5 Compact is slated to release at IFA trade show on 2 September, which is just over a week away.
The device in the picture looks a lot like the existing Z4 Compact, and displays an LED flash and a volume rocker on its back panel. However, the lack of a round power button signals the entry of a fingerprint scanner.
If you fancy the device, do follow the IFA event on 2nd September, though a few rumours have chipped in with a few specifications already. The Xperia Z5 Compact has been stated to feature a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720p, 3GB RAM, a Snapdragon 810 chip, a 20.7MP primary camera and 8MP front camera.
While the specs aren't too bad for a mid-range device, we'll bring you more details on pricing as well as availability once we get to know more about the new phone.
