Motorola has just announced the launch of its 3rd Gen Moto G smartphone at an event in London. The by-the-book mid-range gadget will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants.
Featuring a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels, Moto G will run on a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 processor and on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The 8GB storage model will feature a 1GB RAM while the higher 16GB storage variant will contain a 2GB RAM. The variants will also contain microSD slots for extra storage.
Moto G's 13MP primary camera will feature a f/2.0 aperture as well as a dual CCT flash. It will be complemented by a 5MP primary camera for selfies and video calls and feature an IR filter, toherwise found on flagship devices.
Featuring a sufficient 2,470 mAh battery, the third-generation Moto G will also offer you 4G connectivity along with Wi-Fi and Bluetoooth options.
In case you were curious about how the new phone is any different from the existing Moto G, there isn't any real difference in terms of display resolution and base internal storage. The 16GB variant is, however, the first among Moto G phones.
The primary camera has been improved from 8MP to 13MP and the front camera has been upgraded from 2MP to 5MP. The existing Snapdragon 400 chip has also been replaced by the new Snapdragon 410 and the existing 2,070 mAh battery has paved way for a 2,470 mAh one. In terms of size, both phones are almost identical.
