Honor 7 just days away from UK stores!

Honor 7, which is creating ripples in the Chinese smartphone market,is set to arrive in European shores soon.

Thanks to a teaser video, we now know that Honor 7 will come to Europe. Howeer, we aren't sure yet as to when it will be released and in which countries. You can watch the video here.

Just so you know, here are 7 interesting facts about Honor 7 that you may want to keep in mind:

  • Honor 7 boasts the best camera resolution among smartphones with a 20MP primary camera featuring phase detection autofocus and dual-LED dual-tone flash and an 8MP front camera.
  • Honor 7 is the first phone from Huawei's product line to contain an unibody aluminum alloy shell.
  • Honor 7 will run on Huawei's home-grown processor named Kirin 935 instead of any of Qualcomm's processors.
  • Even though Honor 7's display has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, its ppi density at 424 is lower than Samsung's Galaxy S6, LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
  • Variants of Honor 7 include a dual SIM version and a 64GB-internal storage version.
  • Honor 7's screen to body ratio (72.39%) is among the highest among smartphones, trailing behind LG's G2 (75.99%), Motorola's Moto X (73.18%) and Google's Nexus 6 (74.1%).
  • Honor 7 supports NFC transactions and you will be able to use Android Pay effectively when the latter is launched.

Once Honor 7 is launched, we expect a netwrok to offer it as an exclusive bundled with pay monthly packages just like Three is doing with Honor 6+ now. EE, Vodafone or O2 are not yet in the races, but we expect them to join in if the phone turns out to be a success in the rest of Europe.
