You can now lay your hands on the Apple MacBook Pro for £1,599

As had been suggested in some circles yesterday, Apple have finally announced the availability of the 15-inch MacBook Pro with several singular features not seen before in Apple's laptops.

The device has been spruced up with Force Touch trackpad which had been successfully launched with the 13-inch MacBook Pro. It also packs faster flash storage, longer battery life and faster discrete graphics over the previous model.

You can view and buy the gadget at Apple's Online Store starting today, and have the option of choosing between the £1,599 version and the spruced up  £1,999 version which contains twice the flash storage, a processor with Turbo Boost as well as advanced graphics.

You will also have the option of tweaking your order in terms of choice of processor and flash storage up to 1 TB, details of which are available in Apple's Online Store.

Aside from the MacBook Pro, Apple have also launched the 27-inch iMac in the UK with prices ranging from £1,599 to £1,849 based on available configurations. The price variation mostly hinges on the addition of the 5k Retina display in the premium model which boasts 14.7 million pixels, a 67 per cent better resolution than in the usual 4k display.

The new operating system OS X Yosemite is believed to be the most advances OS for desktop Macs, offering smooth interoperability between Macs and other iOS devices. It also includes simplified looks and brings with it Photos, iMovie, GarageBand, and iWork pre-installed.

The two new Thunderbolt ports in the iMac deliver a bandwidth speed of up to 20Gbps each which is twice the amount of bandwidth offered previously.

Apart from the available configurations, you can also opt for the configuration of your choice where you can tweak processor, graphics and storage options and the final product will be priced accordingly. Like the MacBook Pro, the iMacs can be viewed and purchased from Apple’s online store.
