LG have finally announced the release of the much anticipated G4 smartphone to take place on 31 May in South Korea.
The formalities took place today just days after we revealed almost everything about the G4 that you needed to know, thanks to LG uploading all about the G4 in a microsite that had a full list of specs doing the rounds in the web.
LG also confirmed that the G4 will be unveiled at an event on April 28 where we should expect the few remaining details to be released along with the price list.
However, we are not sure yet if the release dates in Europe and in the US will take place on the same day.
As per details revealed earlier, the G4 will measure 149.1mm x 75.3mm x 8.9mm and will have rubberised skin options along with a few leather ones for better looks.
Looking more like a flattened version of the G Flex 2, the new gadget will also contain a 3000 mAH battery as well as the latest UX 4.0 user interface that will offer more configuration options for professionals.
As revealed officially by LG today, the G4 will also contain a 16MP primary camera along with a f/1.8 aperture and an 8 MP front camera. However, a possible Snapdragon 808 chip could make the device cost less compared to other flagships in the fray.
We hope all our queries will be answered by LG come April 28.
