Motorola's popular Moto G smartphone with 4G connectivity has had its prices slashed. You will now be able to buy the phone at just £111 all inclusive as against £140 previously.
This brings it in direct competition with several sub-£100 phones that have been let loose in the UK market by firms like Xiaomi who specialize in budget phones.
Along with the now attractive price, Motorola has also brought in several features to make the phone competitive. Weighing at 143g, Moto G has a 4.5 inch HD display with a 329 ppi resolution.
Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, it also contains an internal storage of 8GB and a possible 1GB RAM. The processor is a Qualcomm MSM8x26 quad-core A7 chip which supports multi-tasking along with a 2070 mAH battery.
The primary camera is at a modest 5MP and captures images in JPEG format. For selfies and video calling, the Moto G offers a 1.3MP front camera.
Additional features include Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a GPS location service, Wi-Fi connectivity and a microSD slot for additional data storage.
You will be able to connect to 4G data services for fast browsing and streaming music and movies on the Moto G, however, in spite of the HD display, playing HD games or movies may be cumbersome given the limited scope of the processor and internal memory.
The phone is currently on sale in white and black colour options. You can buy it here.
