Huawei's next flagship the Ascend P8 and its younger cousin the Ascend P8 Lite are set to be launched at an event in London on April 15.
The launch date falls within days of Huawei being cleared to operate in the UK by the HCSEC following a two year investigation.
A week before the launch, Huawei have released a promo video that shows a hooded man walking across the streets and sucking light out of every possible light source. The video ends with the message 'See the new wonder of light, April 15, London.'
The message might be focussed on the new phone's low light shooting capabilities, but the Chinese firm stopped at that, possibly preferring to add more details at the time of launch.
The new Ascend P8 will be replacing the Ascend P7 that was released last year. The new device has a larger 5.2 inch display, an octa-core HiSilicon 16nm Kirin 935 chip and a 1080p resolution. Internal storage of 32GB and a 3GB RAM is complemented with a powerful 2520 mAH battery. It also holds a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera.
