Samsung have recently announced the launch of two new tablets under the Galaxy Tab A series at an event in Russia.
The new tablets are available in 8 inch and 9.7 inch variants with both devices featuring a 1024x768 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The new tablets are the first from Samsung to feature wireless charging and metallic body after these features were unveiled at Mobile World Congress during the Galaxy S6 launch. The devices also come with 16GB internal storage with a microSD slot, a primary 5MP camera, a 2MP front camera and a 1.25GHz Cortex A53 CPU.
To be available for sale from next month, the 8 inch variant will cost £188 and the 9.7 inch will come at £232. 4G versions of both models will cost slightly higher.
The launch has been muted compared to the Galaxy S6 launch at Mobile World Congress, and we are yet to hear about the price and availability in UK.
