As the first mobile operator in the UK to stock Microsoft Band devices, O2 announced pre-registrations for the new wearable that will go on sale on April 15.
Branded by Microsoft as the ‘most flexible device on the market,’ the Band features functionality like heart rate monitor, sleep tracking and guided workout programmes and is compatible with Windows, iOS and Android operating systems.
Additionasl features in the Microsoft Band include calorie tracker, time and stopwatch as well as notifications for text messages. The Band also offers connectivity with Facebook and TWitter.
The new O2 Recycle programme enables customers to recycle their old wearables and receive cash payments in return. Customers can use that cash to purchase the new wearable from O2 stores. A recycled Sony SmartWatch 3 can fetch you up to £40.
