A major player in the low-cost mobile devices genre, Honor has launched its latest Honor 6+ smartphone. The new device brings with it the unique bionic parallel eagle eye 8MP cameras which produce a maximum resolution of 13MP with a 0.1 second focus speed. The device also features an impressive 8MP front camera.
With 3GB of RAM and a internal storage space of 32GB, the device is powered by the 8+1 cores Kirin925 processor and supported by a high-power 3600 mAh battery. Honor also claims an industry-high colour saturation of 85 per cent in the display which also offers a 1500:1 super high colour contrast and a negative LCD screen.
The 3600 mAh battery also features Smart Power 2.5 technology which can save up to 30 per cent energy, thereby allowing up to two days of battery life without charging. Through the reverse charging feature, the Honor 6+ can also charge other devices.
Lars Weisswange, Chief Engagement & Communication Officer of Honor Europe commented: “We are continuing to develop Honor as the top Android brand through the ‘By the consumer, for the consumer’ philosophy’; with the launch of the Honor 6+, Honor continues to be the brand designed to meet the needs of its fan, to give them choice, quality and freedom and, ultimately, save them money – Honor is a fast growing brand and a new lifestyle.”
The Honor 6+, apart from the excellent camera, storage and battery features, also incorporates DualSIM and Dual Standby capability along with the extremely convenient Dual 4G switchable feature and a microSD slot.
The 6+ will go on sale any time between April and June. We are yet to hear about the price though.
