If you thought the Apple Watch gold edition will be as far as you can go in terms of glittery and beauty clubbed together, you need to think again.
Technology and lifestyle products reseller Brikk has just announced three new variants of the Lux Watch which are basically remodelled Apple Watches encrusted with premium jewellery in varying designs.
The three variants- the Standard, Deluxe and Omni will be available for shipping around 4-6 weeks after the official release of the Apple Watch. Images released by Brikk suggests that the Apple Watch Gold edition will be base model on which they'll practice their trade.
As revealed by Time in its website, the Omni Yellow Gold, which is considered Brikk's top of the line version, could cost as much as $75,000 at the time of its availability. Brikk has designed the new variants specifically for those who want and can afford high-end designer gadgets.
"Each piece is disassembled inside Brikk’s state-of-the-art laboratory in Los Angeles by a team of skilled engineers. They are hand polished, then plated with five layers of diverse metals before their final plating in either two layers of gold or platinum. High quality diamonds are set with a microscope in a custom-machined bezel. Each piece is then reassembled and tested before shipping to clients," the reseller said in its website.
Though the remodelled Apple Watches look as good as premium designer watches, the price tag does ensure only a select few will be able to adorn their wrists with them. With Apple estimating revenues in terms of billions of dollars from the sale of Apple Watches, it makes more sense for luxury brands to cash in on the hype.
