Apple Watch could last only around a couple of hours with heavy usage, revealed 9to5mac.
In cases where the watch will be used for playing games or for fitness tracking, the device would probably last 2.5 hours and will require another recharge. However, for standard app usage, its life would extend only by an extra hour.
Apple has been taking steps to tackle issues with it's watch's battery, like enabling the clock to turn off when not being viewed which increases the batter life up to a full day. 9to5mac adds that Apple intends to increase the battery life to 19 hours of standard usage, a move that prompted the release date fom late 2014 to early 2015.
Apple has decided to use the MagSafe technology to charge the Apple Watch after it's success with laptop charging.
Even though battery power is a serious concern for both Apple and the Watch's prospective buyers, whether Apple has enough time left to come up with long term solutions remains to be seen. 9to5mac reports that the Apple Watch could by up for sale by March this year.
