Popular firmware Sam Mobile revealed today that Samsung may soon launch its next low-cost Galaxy J1 smartphone as a direct response to existing sub- £200 smartphones like the Moto G and the Sony Xperia M2.
The leak suggested that the Galaxy J1 could stand at 4.3" with a 800 X 800 resolution. The innards could feature 1 GB RAM, 4GB storage as well as a microSD expansion slot. A 64-bit quad-core Marvell PXA1908 processor may e the choice of engine to power the device. As far as the operating system is concerned, the phone may be released with the Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat which would be upgradable to Lollipop later.
It is believed that at a probable price of £150, the phone will compete directly with the Moto G and the Xperia M2. The Galaxy J1 is dubbed to be an all-in-one budget smartphone that offers all Android features at a low price.
Given that the Galaxy J1 may be launched today, we pobably won't have to wait fo long to find out.
