Karbonn Mobile launched its third smartphone- the Karbonn Mobile A19 in the UK via Amazon.co.uk today.
Based on the Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS, the A19 has a 5" capacitative display with 16m colours and front and rear cameras.
The 8MP rear camera, though not as high in resolution as other smartphones released this year, has an exposure adjusting feature that improves picture quality and clarity. The front camera, though with an unknown resolution, is capable of supporting video calls. The phone's exterior also includes curved design with clean edges- a design that is now more common than an exception.
As far as the internal specs are concerned- the A19 is definitely not for the geeks. A 512MB RAM and internal storage of 4GB may be good enough for playing songs, quick texting and multi-tasking, it may be a bit suspect in terms of playing high-res videos and 3D gaming.
However, the 32GB microSD slot does more than cover up for the lack of storage space. Though it may not boast any top-of-the-line spec, the £89.99 price tag in the UK should make it an attractive proposition in the post-Christmas days.
