Wacom has announced its two new tablets- the Cintiq 27QHD and the Cintiq 27QHD Touch at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Featuring the pen-on screen mode, the 27” all glass display provides more than ever space for developers to practice their art on. The QHD screen displays over a billion colours and 97% of Adobe’s colour gamut.
Wacom intends the 27” devices to be the platform for creative entrepreneurs for 3D animation, image editing, creative production and designing.
The surface also allows for different pen nibs for editing and writing, making way for a more pen on paper feel. The Wacom pen can be specifically used for drawing, painting, editing and designing on the screen.
A special accessory to the 27QHD models is the Wacom wireless ExpressKey remote. It contains shortkeys meant to help users to work on their applications and make changes once combined with onscreen controls. Specially designed stands offering upto 20 degree angles have been created for professionals working long hours on their designs. Users can further tweak the angles and height of the stand by going for an optional Cintiq Ergo stand.
The 27QHD models will be available in the UK from mid-January with prices starting at £1799 for 27QHD and £2099 for the 27QHD Touch.
