CES 2015: Asus launch ZenFone 2 and ZenFone Zoom

Asus have announced their new flagship at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The ZenFone 2 features an all-new design, 13MP PixelMaster camera, and is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 4GB RAM. An Intel LTE-Advanced modem provides ultra-fast and reliable 4G/LTE connectivity.

Sporting a brushed-metal finish, the 4G enabled ZenFone 2 features concentric-circle detailing and has a curved back which tapers to 3.9 mm at the edges.

With a 3000mAH battery, the phone comes packaged with fast-charge technology which allows for reduced charging times.

Furthermore, the ZenFone 2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS+ screen and a 13MP PixelMaster camera with a f/2.0 wide-aperture lens that allows users to quickly capture high-resolution photos with zero shutter lag. Other features on the camera include Low Light mode, Backlight (HDR) mode, and the Real Tone flash.  

Asus ZenFone Zoom is the World’s thinnest 3X optical zoom smartphone

The ZenFone Zoom got featured at CES too, apparently the world’s thinnest smartphone to feature a 13MP camera with a 3X optical zoom, its rear camera features a 10-element lens design with up to a 12X digital zoom.

To improve stability, the ZenFone Zoom has an optical image stabilizer (OIS) as well as a revolutionary laser auto-focus. Those who are conversant withmobile photography will find professional-grade manual control of ISO settings, shutter speed and more in the phone’s Manual mode.
