CES 2015: LG throws a second curve ball with the G Flex 2

LG announced the second iteration of its curvy phablet the LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015.

Sporting the same design aesthetics as its older stablemate, the phablet has the same curved concave screen but a more palm friendly size of 5.5-inches instead of the 6 of the original G Flex.

The first G Flex didn't have a Full HD screen and the G Flex 2 makes up for that- it has a full HD 1080p screen and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Furthermore, a pixel density of 403ppi should make consuming media a dream. The same wolverine-like healing qualities make an appearance on the new phone too and it is available in 16 and 32 GB versions. A 13.1MP primary camera along with a 2.1MP front-facing snapper makes an appearance here and the latest version of Qualcomm’s processor, the 810 runs the whole show.

Pricing details for the UK are not yet known but it will probably be at a very similar point as the LG G3. Vodafone announced that they will exclusively store the LG G Flex 2 for the first 6 weeks after its launch in the UK.
