Jawbone unveils two more fitness trackers

Jawbone, manufacturers of UP and UP24, some of the better fitness trackers to launch have brought out two new products just in time for Christmas.

Available for pre-order from today and in shops by the end of the month, this is the third time in as many days that we have heard of a wearable launch from an established manufacturer.

Jawbone Move is the entry level device, not very different from the Misfit Flash in the looks department.

You can clip the tracker to a waistband and making use of the Jawbone apps track your level of fitness. The Move is priced at $49.99 (£30) and made from anodised aluminium.

Jawbone UP3 is one generation up from the UP24. I have used the UP24 for a long time and cannot fault it. The accompanying app measures sleep and has been known to remind me (sometimes, over and over again) of when I should go to bed based on my sleep cycle and activity level. The UP3 is made from anodised aluminium, priced at $179.99 (£140) and will have multiple sensors including the ability to measure light, REM and deep sleep patterns. Its difference from its predecessor lies in the fact that it has a continuous heart rate monitor as well as be water-resistant.
