YouView today announced that Netflix was to be a part of its on-demand service joining 4OD, BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, Demand 5 and Dave on Demand amongst others.
Even though rumours have been abound for a long time, it will just be BT and Humax boxes that will be receiving the service today. TalkTalk and Huawei box owners are due to get the service in early 2015.
Netflix is known for its range of binge-watching worthy television series like Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards and Homeland as well as getting big-tickets movies like Skyfall and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to stream.
Costing £5.99/mo on a rolling contract basis, Netflix can be streamed onto television sets using ChromeCast, Roku or even Apple TV. Those with BT and Humax subscriptions can look for titles using the search function on their boxes while existing Netflix customers can login to their accounts on the box and stream away.
If you are a TalkTalk customer, make sure to register your interest here so you are first to be informed of the roll-out.
