In the run up to Christmas, most manufacturers are scrambling to get their star products in front of customers and Fitbit are no different.
The wearable manufacturer has been rumbled by one of their retail partners Brookstones in the US with their inadvertently made-live product pages sporting the Fitbit Surge the $250 (£200) ‘superwatch’.
The Verge was tipped off to the presence of this page and even though Fitbit call it a super watch, the spec sheet runs identical to all other fitness trackers with the in-built GPS tracker setting it apart.
From the spec sheet, it is obvious that it is aimed at runners with a continuous Heart Rate monitor and elevation climberd, a feature that has not been present in the rest of its peer group.
Notifications for calls and texts will be included as well as the ability to control music playback with the smartwatch on your phone.
To be available in three colours, we will bring you release date and pricing when more information is available!
