Motorola launches successor of the budget superstar Moto G

We called the first Moto G ‘the best sub-£150 smartphone you can buy, offering bowel-bustingly incredible value for money’ and docked half a star from a full 5 star verdict for the lack of expandable storage and fair to middling camera.

Motorola have listened. The all new Moto G has retained all the fabulous features that we fell in love with last year and made them better.

The new Moto G has a 5” display as opposed to its more petite predecessor’s 4.5”, there is expandable storage upto the tune of 32GB via the micro USB slot under the hood and the camera is a flasher 8MP with a 2MP front facing snapper.

Running pure Android 4.4, KitKat, the phone is available with either single or dual SIM capabilities with 8 and 16GB options available and changeable covers will allow users to customise it to match their outfits/mood.

The Moto G will be available with Phones4U and on Amazon in black and white with prices starting from £144.99. They will go on sale from today and the Motorola Shells will be available from October.
