The iPhone 6 will have a more curved design than the current model, with a screen which tapers slightly at each corner, according to close-up photos of leaked components of the new Apple handset.
Tallying with previous rumours, the photos - some of the clearest yet of the iPhone 6 - show how the glass protection over the phone’s display tapers down slightly at the edges, a detail which will hopefully make it more comfortable to hold, given the expected larger screen.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 6 at a media event on 9 September and the new handset will come in two versions - one with a 4.7-inch display and one measuring 5.5 inches; both of which are significantly larger than the 4-inch iPhone 5 current on sale.
In other iPhone 6 news, the Taiwanese National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission has approved the sale of two new versions of the iPhone, further suggesting that Apple has multiple models in the pipeline.
Less has been seen of the phablet-sized 5.5-inch model, leading analysts to suggest it may not arrive until later in the year; delays in producing the phone’s screen cover - believed to be sapphire crystal - are being blamed for the later launch date.
