Motorola Moto 360 image gallery reveals how wireless charging dock works

The Motorola Moto 360 will be the most beautiful smartwatch yet when it launches later this summer, and wireless charging could give it the edge over its Samsung and LG rivals.

An Italian blog called Mister Gadget has given the world its closest look yet at the round-faced smartwatch - and has finally helped us made sense of how the Moto 360 will charge. A small dock holds the watch on its side while providing wireless charging - and the position makes it perfect for use as a bedside clock.

The solution looks to be tidier and better thought out than the docking systems used by LG and Samsung.

Mister Gadget also gives us a chance to see the Moto 360’s gorgeous watch face, and how the gadgets looks when worn. Make no mistake, this is a big watch, but when compared to the LG G Watch, below, it's clear to see how a rounded face helps to hide its size.

The blog post also reveals the Moto 360 is IP67 certified, meaning it is both dust and water resistant, and it includes an optical heart rate monitor and pedometer for fitness tracking.

Motorola says the watch will go on sale this summer, but we don’t yet know the exact release date, or the price.
