3's USB modem is now available for £49.99, over half the cost of its original price

The war of the dongles continues to rage, with 3 slashing their retail price. Having cut the price of the USB modem in March, the operator has further reduced the cost to £49.99. The black and green ZTE Dongle and the Huawei E220 dongles will be available from 3 stores, from www.three.co.uk or by calling 0800 358 7278 from 1 May.

Prepay customers have three price plan options, with the 3GB package with a £15 add-on proving the most popular. Customers can send up to 2,000 plain text emails, surf the web for 100 hours, and download 100 two minute videos and 200 music tracks. Other price plans available are a 1GB data allowance with a £10 add-on or a 7GB package with a £25 add-on. Each add-on lasts for 30 days.
