Tariff news article
19 October 2007
3 claims its new prepay tariff undercuts the next cheapest prepay mobile call tariff by 20%.
3's new "Flat 12" deal offers customers a flat rate of 12p per minute for calls to all mobiles and landlines anytime of the day. Furthermore the new tariff allows free voicemail whilst in the UK even if you're not in credit, as well as 300 free calls per month to other 3 users.
3 is also giving prepay customers the choice of any handset in its range, including the latest offerings from Nokia, Sony Ericsson and LG. This is the latest move by 3 to challenge its competitors. Earlier this year, 3 slashed its roaming rates for travellers in Europe to just 25p per minute to make calls and 10p per minute to receive them.
