3 announces new handset range

3 set to offer the Nokia N96, the BlackBerry Bold and an exclusive white version of the Nokia E71

3 is set to give its handset portfolio a considerable boost with the inclusion of a range of top new handsets, including the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, the Samsung Tocco, the BlackBerry Bold, Nokia N96 and the Nokia E71 in white.

3 is heavily promoting its new internet and email price plans with the Tocco, the N96 and the X1 flying the flag for the mobile internet, while the E71 and the Bold are 3's flagship email devices.

3's web-browsing customers can opt to pay £2.50 a month on contract (£2.50 a week on prepay) for 10MB of data. While, £5 per month on contract or prepay will buy 1GB of data.

3's email customers who purchase a BlacBerry Bold or Nokia E71 can take advantage of similarly structured price plans. £2.50 a month gives you unlimited consumer email (eg Hotmail or Gmail), while £5 a month gives you unlimited consumer and work email.
