Facebook, YouTube and Windows Live Messenger to be integrated in 3 enabled Sony Ericsson handsets
We've seen how successfully they've implemented it before with the INQ1, but operator 3 has now joined forces with Sony Ericsson to provide lots of social networking savvy handsets. It means users will be able to update their Facebook profile, upload videos direct to YouTube or interact with their friends on Windows Live Messenger (WLM) and alike, all with one click of a button.
The first handset to feature these integrated applications will be the Sony Ericsson C510 when it hits stores in March. As part of a six week exclusive, customers of 3 will be able see friends' status updates and new photo alerts direct from their home screen, while all your WLM contacts will be visible in their phonebook. The C510 is part of Sony Ericsson's Cyber-shot range and includes a 3.2-megapixel camera.
