Google Glass Explorer Edition is now on sale in the UK through the Google Play Store.
The head-worn gadget has been sold as a prototype to US-based developers for more than a year now, before finally going on general sale across the Atlantic earlier this year.
But from today, 23 June, us Brits can finally get our hands on Glass - for £1,000.
The gadget is available in charcoal, white, tangerine, sky blue and shale grey, and each Glass bought from Google comes with a free frame of your choice. At the time of publication, Google said Glass would ship in one to two business days, but if demand here is anything like it was when Glass when on sale in the US, this could well slip.

Still considered a prototype, the Explorer Edition of Glass is intended as a publicly available test bed for developers to create and experiment with applications for Glass. A new version intended for less technical consumers is expected to go on sale at a much lower price later this year.
Google may well say more about Glass at its annual I/O developer conference, which kicks off this Wednesday.
