The much-rumoured iPhone 6 is said to come in two different sizes, and while the 4.7-inch version has leaked extensively in recent weeks, only now has the 5.5-inch model entered the limelight.
Published by renowned and often accurate leaker Sonny Dickson, the new iPhone’s large display panel is seen photographed with a ruler, measuring the screen at 14cm or 5.5 inches.
Although very little is known about the larger iPhone 6, it is believed to be launching after the 4.7-inch model. The latter will arrive in September or October, while the former is believed break cover closer to Christmas.
Earlier leaks suggest the new iPhones will feature a slimmer aluminium chassis compared to the current iPhone 5s, while Apple’s TouchID fingerprint scanner will make a comeback. The phone will run Apple’s new iOS 8 operating system, which was shown off to developers at WWDC earlier this month.
Health and fitness trackers are expected to feature heavily in the iPhone 6, and the phone is tipped to be sold alongside a wearable device known as iWatch; despite much rumour and speculation about the watch, no photos of the device have yet leaked.
