Speculation continues to build around the Samsung Galaxy F, a premium, metallic version of the Galaxy S5, and now a new set of photographs show the handset’s aluminium chassis.
Also known as the Galaxy S5 Prime, the Galaxy F is said to have a 5.3-inch QHD screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 - the same as the LG G3 - and the handset is claimed to be slightly smaller than the regular S5.
The device pictured has a Snapdragon 801 processor, but the leaker claims this will be upgraded to the 805 chipset before launch. The same level of waterproofing and dustproofing as the Galaxy S5 will also feature in the F.
There is said to be 3GB of RAM - up from the 2GB in the S5 - and the rear camera will be an S5-equalling 16 megapixels.

The leaker, who sent the photos to Phone Arena, claims the Galaxy S5 is asymmetrical and the top half of the phone is more curved from the bottom. We’re not exactly sure what they mean by this, and the photos give little away.
Samsung is yet to comment on the Galaxy F and we don’t yet know when the handset will be announced.
