Samsung is preparing a premium version of the Galaxy S5 smartphone and will launch it in September, the same month Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 6.
Notoriously reliable technology tipster Evan Blass tweeted to say he has been told the phone, currently known as the Samsung Galaxy F, will arrive in September, the same month Apple has traditionally revealed its latest handset.

The high-end Samsung has also been referred to as the Galaxy S5 Prime, and is said to be made from aluminium offering a more premium design than the plasticky Galaxy S5. The handset is also expected to have a 2K screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560, much higher than the S5 and the same as the LG G3 and its Quad-HD display.
RAM is expected to increase from 2GB to three, while the processor with by Qualcomm’s brand new quad-core Snapdragon 805, a chip not yet used by any other smartphone.
If all this turns out to be true, then we’ve got a real smartphone scrap on our hands.
