Samsung isn’t the only phone maker to be accused of developing an uprated ‘Prime’ version of its flagship handset, as now HTC is believed to have a One (M8) Prime in the works.
Multiple rumours circling the web this week have pointed towards a bigger and better M8, and now serial smartphone leaker Evan Blass - he of the notoriously accurate @EvLeaks Twitter account - has released a spinning 3D render of the phone.
Finished in dark grey and featuring a thin metal chassis similar to that used by the regular One (M8), the Prime model’s rear camera protrudes from the back of the handset and is surrounded by an orange ring.
The HTC One (M8) Prime is expected to have a 5.5-inch screen (half an inch bigger than the standard M8), and be powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor believed to be Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 805 chipset. The Prime will also feature a Quad-HD display similar to that expected for the LG G3 and 3GB of RAM.
