The LG G3 has leaked online again, this time with a photograph showing the back of the smartphone in three colours - grey, silver and black with gold.
Although expected to be made from plastic, the phone’s back has a metallic finish to it, while the camera and rear buttons are the same as those seen on previous leaks of the upcoming handset.
To the left of the rear camera the LG G3 has a mystery sensor, thought to be either a heart rate monitor like that on the Samsung Galaxy S5, or a fingerprint reader for biometric security.
The G3 will likely be the main attraction at a media event held by LG on 27 May, and is expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen with a ‘Quad HD’ resolution and a 2.34GHz, quad-core Snapdragon processor.
The handset will go head-to-head against the Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8) and Sony Xperia Z2 in a battle for the top step of the Android smartphone podium.
LG is expected to announce its smartwatch, the Android Wear-powered G Watch, alongside the G3 at the 27 May event.
